In plan view, the architecture is organized radially to house the two distinctive built parts are driven by the terrain and the scenic surrounding. The private residence faces toward the water reservoir.
In section, the organization is driven based on the performance of the wine-making process - Gravity Flow, the method utilizes gravity and the multi-storey of the building to move the ingredients from process to process with minimal pumping. Whether this method of wine-making produce better wine is debatable but using gravity to convey along the production line is a more energy efficient wine making process.
While I have worked on most areas of the project, I was specifically tasked with the design of the entrance, including the facade, and entrance lobby, which later on including the skin of the building, stone cladding, brick facade.
