Context
GRUNER&FRIENDS took part in an extensive urban study focusing on the potential of the site "Cham North". The site occupies 26,231sqm and is characterized by a gentle slope towards the Lorze steam.
"Cham North" lies along the Knonauerstrasse, where the future Cham - Hunberg bypass will begin. Thus, the area is directly related to the transit system and acts as a town gate in to Cham.
Role
For this project, I assisted the design team to formulate scripts that generate and evaluate massing models based on different approaches, and optimizing desirable views while respecting the project specifics, such as site context, and views from neighbour buildings.
