Context

Bellhop is a supplement application that developed for The Public Hotel Project during the summer semster at SCI Arc.The most significant bottleneck in the Public Hotel Project is the gathering of high fidelity data. Bellhop is a prototype application that combines AR and AI at urban scale to address this issue.Bellhops as “ghosts” that can haunt vacant sites. These virtual entities can gather community feedback and relay them back to our Generative Design System. They would also participate in the management of our Vacant Site Index. They gather data through casual conversation rather than cold and sometimes ineffective surveying. They explore the relationship between virtual and physical space.
